Get Connected through Social Networks

To aid residential life staff in communicating news announcements and promoting events to their residents, the ResLife Portal SaaS system is integrated with several social networking services. Since most college students use social networks on a daily basis, this feature of our system can help your residential life staff get information to their residents where the residents are spending time on-line.

On the right you will find the current social networking services in which the ResLife Portal SaaS is currently integrated. Our team is continuing to review additional social networking services to bring on-board with our system.

Questions?

If you have any questions about the integration of the ResLife Portal SaaS system with social networking services, please contact us.

Twitter

Twitter Twitter is considered a micro-blogging service which has quickly increased in popularity since it showed up in 2006. It allows users to make text-based posts of up to 140 characters for free. Users can "follow" each other to stay updated with the posts each other makes. Through the integration of the ResLife Portal with Twitter, residential life staffs can register a free Twitter account that their residents can follow and receive updates regarding events and announcements.

Facebook

FacebookFacebook is a social networking site that has grown in size with members to rival the population of some countries since it was founded in 2004. It's self-proclaimed mission is to "connect people together." We are currently experimenting with connecting the ResLife Portal to Facebook. The goal is to provide yet another way of "connecting" residential life staff to the college students they serve as a communication channel for promoting events and programs.
