Land Acknowledgment

ResLife Portal recognizes and respects the Indigenous peoples as traditional stewards of the land. More specifically, we recognize the Kumeyaay people whose ancestral homelands of where we currently reside. On behalf of ResLife Portal, extend our gratitude and respect to the Indigenous people who have lived on and cared for this land.

What is a Land Acknowledgment?

A Land Acknowledgment is a formal statement that recognizes and respects Indigenous peoples as traditional stewards of a given geographic area and the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous Peoples and their ancestral territories.

For ResLife Portal, we recognize the land as Kumeyaay, and the former Tisirr village.
